I began writing poetry early in my walk with God. I have found it to be the best and sometimes the only way to express what God has made real in my heart. All of these poems are gifts from Heaven to me. Writing them and even re-reading them myself has blessed me beyond measure. I now pass the gift on to you. May you be touched and changed.

Lord, give me eyes for others
Let me see them as You see
Help me look for needs to meet
Give Your eyes of love to me

Give me a heart for others
Pour down passion from above
Purge all self-love out of me
Let my heart burn with Your love

Lord, give me hands for others
Equip me for mercy, I plead
I need fruits and gifts from You
To reach out and meet their need

Give me a passion for others
A desire to see them grow
Burn in me a holy fire
That Your love, They’d come to know
