I began writing poetry early in my walk with God. I have found it to be the best and sometimes the only way to express what God has made real in my heart. All of these poems are gifts from Heaven to me. Writing them and even re-reading them myself has blessed me beyond measure. I now pass the gift on to you. May you be touched and changed.

To the Christian Writer

To explain the unexplainable
To a world quickly falling
To express the inexpressible
That is our high calling

Our greatest hope is this:
That we can shine some light
Through our creative works
Oh God, I pray we might

But can our human words
However inspired they be
Express the faintest echo
Of the awesomeness of Thee

Lord, please bless our feeble efforts
And use them any way
Give us grace and inspiration
As we seek to honor Thee today
