I began writing poetry early in my walk with God. I have found it to be the best and sometimes the only way to express what God has made real in my heart. All of these poems are gifts from Heaven to me. Writing them and even re-reading them myself has blessed me beyond measure. I now pass the gift on to you. May you be touched and changed.

Daddy is Here

Like a father
Comforts a child
With tender words
Gentle and mild

I speak to you
Out of My love
I bring to you
Peace from above

Don’t be afraid
Whispered to you

My love is true

Don’t be afraid
Fear now is past
Don’t be afraid
I hold you fast

Don’t be afraid
Howe’er you feel
Don’t be afraid
I am so real

Don’t be afraid
Daddy is here
Don’t be afraid
I’m oh so near

Don’t be afraid
Beloved one
Don’t be afraid
You are My son

It is My joy
To hold you tight
To comfort you
Is My delight
