I began writing poetry early in my walk with God. I have found it to be the best and sometimes the only way to express what God has made real in my heart. All of these poems are gifts from Heaven to me. Writing them and even re-reading them myself has blessed me beyond measure. I now pass the gift on to you. May you be touched and changed.

Impossible

Are there impossible cases?
Some that have just gone too far
Can a soul travel to places
That are simply beyond Your pow’r?

In some eyes I see no light
In some there is no life at all
Any hope is far beyond my sight
Is my faith just much too small?

I want so badly, Lord, to see
A lost heart turn and live
Have disappointments hardened me?
Do I have no hope left to give?

I need your passion to return
O Lord, I don’t see things right
May Your love in my heart burn
In deep darkness make me a light

Although for some my heart will grieve
Your word, it still rings true
And I have to choose to believe
That nothing is impossible for You
