I began writing poetry early in my walk with God. I have found it to be the best and sometimes the only way to express what God has made real in my heart. All of these poems are gifts from Heaven to me. Writing them and even re-reading them myself has blessed me beyond measure. I now pass the gift on to you. May you be touched and changed.

No More

There will be no more fear
Never insane with worry again
Our thoughts will be so clear
Finally fearing God and not men

There will be no more pride
No longer caring what men see
Free from the arrogance inside
Now putting others before me

There will be no more flesh
Temptation and lust will be dead
Our inner man now pure and fresh
And holiness abides instead

There will be no more self
We will finally have pure love
Our own needs we will shelf
And place all others above

There will be no more doubt
Our clouded thinking killed
All our wavering left without
Our faith will be fulfilled

There will be no more sin
All wrongs will be made right
Perfect blessedness begins
Eternally walking in light
