I began writing poetry early in my walk with God. I have found it to be the best and sometimes the only way to express what God has made real in my heart. All of these poems are gifts from Heaven to me. Writing them and even re-reading them myself has blessed me beyond measure. I now pass the gift on to you. May you be touched and changed.

A Love Poem

Read it to your Lord, then let Him read it to you

Let’s go to our secret place
A place where there’s no fear
Where we can commune together
Where I can draw so near

I give myself to you
Nothing for myself I keep
All my riches are for you
My devotion is that deep

Close beside you now
I love when we embrace
Rest and peace and joy
Are here now in this place

I love you more than any other
You mean everything to me
I long to be one with you
For all eternity
