I began writing poetry early in my walk with God. I have found it to be the best and sometimes the only way to express what God has made real in my heart. All of these poems are gifts from Heaven to me. Writing them and even re-reading them myself has blessed me beyond measure. I now pass the gift on to you. May you be touched and changed.

Deep, Deep Well

Depths of peace, Lord from Thee
Flowing deep inside of me
Beyond what I could ever tell
Peace overwhelming, overflows
From within Thine heart it rose
For Thou art my deep, deep well
…of peace

Depths of joy, Lord from Thee
Flowing deep inside of me
Beyond what I could ever tell
Joy overwhelming, overflows
From within Thine heart it rose
For Thou art my deep, deep well
…of joy

Depths of hope, Lord from Thee
Flowing deep inside of me
Beyond what I could ever tell
Hope overwhelming, overflows
From within Thine heart it rose
For Thou art my deep, deep well
…of hope

Depths of grace, Lord from Thee
Flowing deep inside of me
Beyond what I could ever tell
Grace overwhelming, overflows
From within Thine heart it rose
